To install demo content (pages, WooCommerce categories, menus and plugins), go to your Dashboard → El Greco Woo → General.

On the left-hand side of the page there is the Install plugins block where you can find the list of required and recommended plugins. Plugins you have already installed are marked as 'Active'. Check or uncheck items if necessary.

A child theme can be installed in the Install Child Theme section. Give it another name or leave as it is and press the Install Child button. 

Proceed to Install demo to create demo content. Use the toggle switches so that demo content suits your needs.  

You will find more settings in the Single Product Page tab.

Here you can rename product tabs or disable them. 

Feel free to edit the default content.

In the WooCommerce tab, activate the Use side Shopping cart toggle to use both Cart page and side Cart on your website. 

If you want to show how many products there are in each product category (Slider menu), check the box in the Menus section. 

Go to the Service Pages tab to edit your 404 page. 

Go to the Additional tab to add you custom code.


Go to ProductsCategories and select categories you want to Edit or create a new one.

To create a subcategory, add its name and select the corresponding parent category. Click Add a New Category.

Once you have installed demo content, go to Appearance → Menus to manage your menus. There are 4 of them available in the El Greco Woo theme: Top Menu, Mobile menu, two Footer Menus (Company Info, Purchase Info).

To manage them, go to AppearanceMenus and select a menu to make changes to or create a new one. Check items which should be added to your menu in the left-hand sidebar. 

Drag items to change their display order and move them to the right to make sub items. You can edit them by clicking the down arrow symbol.

To make sure you see all groups of items, click Screen Options at the top of the page and check groups you want to add to menu.

After you have finished editing your menu, check corresponding display location at the bottom of the page in Menu Settings. Click Save Menu.

Alternatively, you can use Manage with Live Preview at the top of the page to see changes on your website front-end as you make them.


To adjust theme customization settings to your needs and modify your website appearance, go to Dashboard → Appearance → Customize. Click pencil icons to edit specific elements.



Upload your logo and favicon and add site title. 


Use the Account checkbox to hide the Log in link in your website header. 


Manage sticky header options and edit Search box placeholder. 


Choose a cart icon that suits your website style best. 


Go to Front Page → Slider to manage your slider settings. For each banner you can upload images for desktop and mobile versions of your website, add text and links, change buttons color and show additional buttons such as View video. Use the Add new slide button to add more banners.

Enable auto-rotation by checking the Autoplay option in the Slider settings and adjust your website colors. 


In the Most popular categories section, upload category images, give each category a name and do the linking.


Mark products with a star in your WP admin area to show them in the Featured Products block.


You can add your customer reviews in the Testimonials block. To enable rotation, use the toggle and add auto-rotation time.


Add your Instagram username to display your feed under Testimonials as social proof. 


Paste your subscription form code here and select background color. 


Click the Edit link to make changes to your Homepage article.



In this tab, choose how many products to display per row on tablet and mobile. Also, use the checkboxes to manage your paging on Category page: you can use either paging or navigation buttons. Check both options to use both methods. 


The theme offers a number of layout options for Image Gallery:

  • default WooCommerce gallery,

  • side gallery (left of right) 

  • gallery which is located under the main product image

Use the Rating options to show rating and order details.

Use the Show Facebook like box on Single product page switcher to display FB like box instead of social share icons. 


In this tab you'll find a wide range of unique features that can give your store a huge rise in conversions.


Store features are displayed on Homepage, Category page and Single product page above Footer.

Add more social proof and urgency icons to your Single product page:

  • Shipping and Returns icons are shown above the Add to cart icon

  • Sales badge can be found next to product price

  • In stock badge is located near the Quantity option

  • 'I recommend this product badge' will show up in your customer reviews. 

Highlight your store benefits in a great visual way. This block will appear under the Add to cart button. Please note that Estimated Delivery Date is added AUTOMATICALLY (the current date + 15 days)

Single product page additional information is added automatically below your product information in Product Details tab (every Single product page). 


This trust box is shown under the Additional information text area in the desktop version of the theme and at the very top of the Checkout page on mobile.


Enable this block to encourage your customers to make faster purchase decisions. 


Add urgency banner to inspire more purchases.
