You can have your Premium Dropshipping Store in different languages. The list of available languages is specific for each store. Take Classic Store, for example:
There are six languages available for Classic Store, including English. These are the languages you can install and use on your domain. And while installing a single-language store is pretty straightforward, making your webstore multilanguage is a bit more complicated.
Installing a second language to your store
Let's say you have a Premium Dropshipping Store in English and you want the same store in Spanish. Your domain name is yourdomain.com. After you're done with the installation, you will have two versions of the same website:
1. English version:
2. Spanish version:
Note. You will need a domain and web hosting to follow this guide.
Note. In this guide we're using AliDropship web hosting. If you have a different hosting provider, please check with them if it's possible to recreate the steps described here.
Step 1. Log in to cPanel and open 'MySQL® Databases' under 'DATABASES':
Step 2. We're creating a Spanish version of the website, so we're going to create a /es/ database. Type in es in the 'New Database' field and click 'Create Database':
Step 3. We'll connect the existing user with the /es/ database we just created. Scroll down to find 'Add User To Database' block. Select the user — there's usually just one if you have an existing website — and click 'Add':
Step 4. The 'Manage User Privileges' screen opens. Select 'ALL PRIVILEGES' and click 'Make Changes':
Step 5. We're back at the home screen and now we need to install another WordPress for our Spanish version. Find and open 'Site Software':
Note. We described how to install WordPress in this guide. The installation process for a regional version is similar, but there are a couple of important differences.
Step 6. You will see that one instance of WordPress is already installed. This is our English version. Click on 'WordPress':
Step 7. Go to the 'Install' tab:
Step 8. In the 'Installation URL' delete the word 'wordpress' and type in 'es'. This will create a folder where the second instance of WordPress will be installed:
Step 9. Fill out the rest of the fields as described in this guide. When you reach the 'MySQL Database' field, choose 'yourdomain_es' from the dropdown menu. This is the database we created in Step 2:
Step 10. Click 'Install' and wait for the installation to finish:
Step 11. When the installation is finished, go to the WordPress admin area of the Spanish version by typing yourdomain.com/es/wp-admin in the search bar:
Step 12. We described how to configure WordPress settings after installation in this guide. The only thing different for a regional version is the language. We installed the Spanish version, so we'll change the language to Spanish. Go to 'Settings' → 'General' and set the language to 'Español':
Done. The regional version is installed.
Now you can install the Premium Replica plugin, select the language and import the products. All of it in Spanish.
