Twitter authorization option allows your clients to log in to your website by signing in with their Twitter account. This secure, fast and simple experience leads to higher conversion. To get started,

You must apply for a Twitter developer account and be approved before you may create new apps. It may take Twitter team some time to work through your application. Please pay close attention to the email address that is associated with the @user account that you used to apply. Twitter team may reach out to this email address with questions. If you do not reply promptly, your application will be closed.

Go to developer.twitter.com and apply for a developer account.

Associate your current user profile and click Continue.

Fill out your account details. Choose 'I am requesting access for my organization' in case you need to share your account with others on your team.

Provide more details on your project.

Agree to the Terms of service.

Check your email inbox to confirm your email address.

Confirm your email.

Twitter team will get in touch with you shortly.

Once your application has been approved, add your Callback URL into your app details. Callback URL can be found in your WP admin area. Go to AliDropship => Settings => Accounts => Twitter Authorization.

Go to Apps and click 'Create an app' :

Now, you need to start describing your app:

Give your App a name, paste your URL and provide a description for it. Please, pay your special attention to the Applictaion description, as long as it is an important and essential part of an App.

Let's move forward:

First of all, you need to enable 'Sign in with Twitter' checkbox. After that, paste your Callback URL (from AliDropship => Settings => Accounts => Twitter Authorization)

Also, don't forget to fill in 'Terms of Service' and 'Privacy policy' URLs. This is also a very important part of an App, so these have to be some links with real and relevant information.

As for 'Organisation name' and 'Organisation website URL', you may keep these fields empty, in case you act as a sole enterpreneur.

Another important field to fill in. We recommend you, to be as honest as possible, when telling Twitter about how your app will be used. Just say in a free manner, that you create an app for your clients to login via Twitter on your site.

Click 'Create' and go to Permissions tab:

Click 'Edit' and setup this form as shown on this screenshot:

Click 'Save' and go to 'Keys and tokens' tab:

Copy these keys to your Twiiter Authorization tab in AliDropship plugin (AliDropship => Settings => Accounts => Twitter Authorization):

So, Api Key stands for Consumer Key and API secret key stands for Consumer secret.

After filling in these fields, click 'Save Changes'.
